At Whatley Brothers, we put considerable time and effort into crafting each Scope of Work and Proposal to ensure that every detail is addressed and tailored to your specific needs. Because of this, we do charge for our estimating services, with fees proportional to the size and complexity of your project. This ensures that we can continue to provide you with the highest quality service and peace of mind throughout the entire process. Because of this, we are not able to give rough estimates on the spot, before we are able to thoroughly review all aspects of the project to ensure there are no surprises or overlooked details.
Let us now walk you through our estimating process, and how we can take your project from concept to completion.
Phase 1: On-Site Consultation (Free)
We begin by meeting you at your project site to discuss your vision and goals, as well as take pictures and measurements. This allows us to understand your needs in detail and provide tailored solutions.
Phase 2: Scope of Work ($50-200)
Next, we draft an overview of your project, outlining all the elements we've discussed. This includes an all-encompassing rough budget estimate based on our years of experience for labor and materials. This document serves as a starting point for fine-tuning your project details. If any adjustments are needed, this is the phase to address them.
Phase 3: Proposal ($50-300)
Once we've agreed on the Scope of Work, we move to the Proposal phase. For a smaller project we will likely go directly to the Proposal phase. Here, we provide a precise project description, accurate labor and material costs, and a list of materials for you to purchase. This ensures clarity and transparency, so you know exactly what to expect.
Phase 4: Project Execution & Ongoing Support
Once the proposal is approved, our commitment to exceptional communication kicks into high gear. You'll receive regular updates via a dedicated photo feed, so you can see the progress on your project every step of the way. If any issues arise, we'll promptly inform you and present possible solutions. Finally, once your project and all inspections are completed, we stand behind our work with a 14-month warranty, ensuring peace of mind long after the job is done.
